WP structure

WP1 Management, dissemination, SH engagement

WP2 Production of plant cell extracts

WP3 Identification of the best plant extracts and application modalities

WP4 Identification and characterization of the best cyanobacterial communities

WP5 Plant NV isolation, characterization and evaluation of biostimulatory property

WP6 Combined impact of selected extracts and cyanobacterial communities on agronomic and physiological traits

Objectives

  • To prove that bioprocesses based on the cultivation of plant cell cultures and terrestrial cyanobacterial ommunities are an innovative, effective and viable technology to produce BS and BF (WP2, WP4).
  • To provide, for the first time, proof-of-concept data on the use of plant nanovesicles and extracellular vesicles as nanobiostimulants for agricultural applications (WP5).
  • To provide an understanding of the mode of action and impact on soil of the BS and BF by utilizing a multi-pronged experimental approach (WP3, WP6).
  • To maximize the project's impact on civil society, stakeholders (SH) in both private and public sectors, as well as policymakers and decision-makers, by means of a targeted dissemination, communication, and utilization strategy using a multi-actor approach (WP1).
